Yup. I’m late. But my latest motto is “better late than never.” And anyways its not like music has som sort of best-before date
Now onto the Playlist!
BET BET by NU’EST from the album ‘Happily Ever After’.
Released in April 2019, this is NU’EST’s song from their sixth mini album. I really loved this song with it’s upbeat energy and vocals. Loved it so much, I’m still bopping to it. I’ve heard random songs from NU’EST once in a while, but this ones really stuck on and hence got featured in the playlist! 💜
Make It Right (feat. Lauv) by BTS
Make it right was an Ed Sheeran produced song that made it onto BTS’s album “Map of the Soul : Persona” earlier in 2019.
A fan favorite, this song has gotten a makeover and now features Lauv with some new lyrics. The music video shows a cute little story between a little boy and a girl who protect each other, which is often cited as the relationship between BTS and their fans. And the song has had some fresher remixes as well by the time I’m writing this with an EDM and Acoustic remix as well!
Magic Island by TXT from the album ‘The Dream Chapter : Magic’
TXT has now realised a new album after their debut earlier this year and can I just say, how amazing the album is! Some really good quality music on the album and honestly I would recommend the album on its own. This track is more mellow, breathy and feels like you’re on a journey. A perfect travel song.
Poppin’ Star by TXT from the album ‘The Dream Chapter : Magic’
Have I told you I really liked their album? Well I really liked it and especially this song energy that is maintaining a mellow beat interrupted with some colorful bouts and pops of energy. The best song to listen to when you are in the ZONE. Helps me get a lot of cleaning done around my room, more happily than I normally do!
Run Away by TXT from the album ‘The Dream Chapter : Magic”
I know I know.
Having an entire album on a playlist makes it an album not a playlist. But honestly all the tracks on the album are so different from each other, like miles apart. You can’t help but add a few of them onto this months playlist. This bibbidy-bobbidy magical song was the perfect title song for this magical album.
Nice To Meet Ya by Niall Horan
I’ve always loved Niall’s vocals a lot. It’s a rare kind of voice and I’ve enjoyed his music a lot. This song was the one I listened to while on my way to work. The music video has him walking along the street and singing , and I felt the same mood as I walked to work and listened to it!
Mother by Charlie Puth
Here’s the link to the official music video.
Puth has always had a uniqueness in his music and this ones no different. Based off on Puth’s bummy relationship on the past, this steady paced and quirky best is going to be an earworm for sure.
Trampoline by SHAED
This steady song, has sudden bursts of energy and an eerie the whistle in the background. Towards the end it just turns out to be this powerful and smooth song. The fluctuation in beat really makes it feel like you’re on a trampoline jumping up and down in pace with the beat, with memories from your life, flashing right in front of you.
Wonderland by ATEEZ from their album ‘Treasure EP.FIN: All To Action‘
Was this one powerful song. Ateez really blew their standards out of the roof for this one. They’ve matched this amazing energy with their song, their performance and the music video. I don’t think I need to say any more. You need to watch or listen to it yourself.
The Bones by Maren Morris from the album ‘Girl‘.
Another top favorite, this one won me over with her impeccable lyrics and the equally fitting lyrics.
When the bones are good, the rest don’t matter
Yeah, the paint could peel, the glass could shatter
Let it rain ’cause you and I remain the same
When there ain’t a crack in the foundation
Baby, I know any storm we’re facing
Will blow right over while we stay put
The house don’t fall when the bones are good
Agust D by Agust D from the album ‘Agust D’
Here’s the official music video. The lyric translations are available as closed captions.
If you do not know the song or the artists, you probably thought I typed in a typo for the heading. The artists is Agust D more famously know as Suga, the member of the group BTS. He’s a rapper and producer in the group and released his solo mixtape some years ago under the album and artist name of Agust D. It’s basically firmed by naming his stage name backwards with the D standing for his hometown of Daegu, South Korea.
An action packed song he annihilates his haters and all the people and ideas that opposed his work, with his strong rap skills which he cites as “tongue technology”. It’s definitely A to the G to the U to the STD.
Beautiful People (feat. Khalid) by Ed Sheeran from the album “No: 6 , Collaborations Project”
I think you’re not stranger to this song. Ed Sheeran after his highly successful album ‘Divide’ released this album with a number of Collaborations ranging from Justin Bieber, Camila Cabello and so many others. This song was one of my favorites and I’ve still looped onto this one. You just can’t get enough. And Khalid feature was just amazing as well. You just don’t get tired of the mood that comes off of this song.
So that’s my October playlist! Any of your favorites there? Or any other songs that you feel I should give a listen to, after reading this? Give me a shout out in the comments below!
