Now you may be wondering what a five year journal is? For those who would like to keep an interesting journal but don’t have the patience to maintain a complete and detailed journal be it the traditional or bullet format, but would like to see the change of things in your life over a period of time can opt for a five year journal.
What you need – one chunky diary and with good quality binding and paper – it needs to last you five years you know!
Now the basic idea of a five year journal is – you will have one question to answer every day. So overall 365 questions with an additional one for the leap day. Basically you are supposed to answer the same set of questions for five years and see how the answers change over the years.
On this post that I will share the questions I answered in January and maybe highlight some special questions that I enjoyed answering. Of course I’m not revealing everything here, it’s quite personal! LOL!
I used this image I found on Pinterest as my reference question for this month!
The questions that were the highlight to me? Firstly it would be question 1 and 3. My goal and whether I’m content. It would be interesting to see if I’m actually achieving these goals and how content I am as I go through life.
The favorite accessory and favorite snack questions although cute little questions could actually be questions that could see the most change over the years! Don’t you think so?
I’m hoping the answer to my favorite website is always going to be my blog link too!
Questions 16 and 31 are also some really impactful questions too. If there are changes in those answers over the years, those are some really significant changes that are highlighted over the years!
So – did you like the idea of the five year journal? It’s never too late to try it, so please do if you’re interested! Of you’ve tried different formats or questions do let me know in the comments as well. I will be coming with the posts for February and the remaining months as well!
