The argument between Jjang Cheng and Wei Wuxian continue and as Wei Wuxian stands strong that he will remain strong and protect the remaining survivors, Jjang Cheng storms out of the Burial Mounds. Wei Wuxian decides to leave the Jjang clan in order to be with the people and for what he feels is right. Oh my goooddd..things are serious guys!

Wen Qing is sad that Wei Wuxian has to go to such lengths of even leaving his own clan for all of them and even mentions that he can go back while they will survive here, but Wei Wuxian being the cheerful guys he is mentions that everything is alright and he is staying here. 😭😭😭😭😭

But things between Jjang Cheng and Wei Wuxian are not over as the two have a fight the next day and are injured. Jjang Cheng, painful as it is, declares Wei Wuxian a traitor of the other clans. This is hitting hard you guys.

Meanwhile Yanli sees Jin Zi Xuan plantinng Lotus plants outside her room to make it feel more like her home at the Lotus Pier. She seems touched by this action and the two seem to be getting closer. I guess we know who she married. But what happened to them then, if their son is an orphan in the present. I smell something bad coming.

Meanwhile at a marketplace, Wei Wuxian and Wen Yuan, a child is walking along when Wen Yuan runs off and grabs Lan Wangji’s leg and starts crying. He gets uncomfortable as people stare at home but Wei Wuxian comes in and asks Lan Wangji not to be too serious about it as he is just a child. The two then go to a restaurant to talk.

Takeaways from the episode

Well we expected this sooner or later but Jjang Cheng and Wei Wuxian have finally gone two separate ways now. But will our favourite duo get back together now? Let’s hope so and move onto the next episode!
